Meet a Park Naturalist at the Visitor Center to learn more about attracting wildlife to your backyard.

3:30 PM: Lost!
Meet at the Visitor Center - Discovery Room. Geared for younger guests that like to spend time outdoors and would like to know better how not to become lost, and what to do if they ever are.
Thursday, March 25:
3:30 PM: Waterfall Walk
Join a ranger for an easy & informative hike to the highest cascading waterfall east of the
Mississippi River. Meet at the West Ridge
Access Trailhead. 0.3 Miles. Easy.
Tuesday, March 30
3:30 P M: Skins, Hides, & Skulls
Meet at the Visitor Center for this hands-on program geared for the park’s “junior” rangers. Learn about wildlife commonly found in North Georgia.
Saturdays (March 13, 20, 27)
11:00 AM– Nature Bingo
Meet at the Visitor Center -Discovery Room to play a classic game with a natural twist.
1:00 PM– Birds of Prey
Join a Park Naturalist in the Lodge Lobby to learn more about our resident non-releasable raptors.
3:00 PM– Bear Facts
Meet a Park Naturalist at the Visitor Center-Discovery Room to learn more North Georgia’s native bear population.
Sundays (March 14, 21, 28)
11:00 AM – Featured Creature
You never know who or what might show up for a surprise visit. Join a Park Naturalist at the Visitor Center to find out.
1:00 PM- Snakes
Meet in the Lodge Lobby to learn more about North Georgia’s native snakes. These often-misunderstood creatures are important in ways we don’t always recognize.
3:00 PM-Seed Mosaics
Join a Park Naturalist at the Visitor Center-Discovery Room to create a mosaic

All programs are free, however a $5 parking pass is required for your vehicle (unless you have a yearly parking ParkPass). All programs and times are subject to change due to conflicts or inclement weather; however, we will do our best to hold to this schedule.
